IT Solutions Now offers a flexible file structure that clients will be familiar with (My Documents, public and departmental areas), while guaranteeing complete privacy of all data. Clients will have access to local drives and will be able to get custom directory permissions upon request. There will be no storage restrictions and guaranteed daily backups, with weekly off-site backups and no limits on data restoration.

The File System
Clients can rest easy with a secure, privately hosted file system provided by IT Solutions Now. Mimicking a local network, clients will have access to shared folders, public and private areas, file permissions, and so on. Our standard structure includes public shares, departmental folders, and private user directories. IT Solutions Now also accommodates all custom file and directory permissions. Although not recommended as the safest place to store files, users have the ability to access and save data to the local drives of their computers. With requirements tailored to clients' needs, file storage limits are generally lax. Essentially, IT Solutions Now provides a safe and easy to use File system with all the flexibility of a local network, while not limiting clients to that file system.

Data Backup
Never worry about forgetting to backup your data again. Every day at 1:30 AM EST, our backup system begins the daily task of copying all the data that resides within our facility to tape. All of these tapes are kept for a minimum of 10 days before being recycled. With this system we have the ability to restore specific files if they are lost, accidentally erased, overwritten or damaged. Data is moved to our off-site disaster recovery location on a weekly basis, ensuring that the data is secure even in the event of a problem at the IT Solutions Now headquarters. As an additional precaution, monthly and quarterly backups are retained for a period of time before being recycled. There is no charge for restoring any lost data. We have procedures in place to store your data as safely possibly, and have made the recovery of any lost or damaged data an easy, streamlined process.
